Welcome to the website of the Coptic Olympics!

WHAT IS THE COPTIC OLYMPICS?
The Coptic Olympics is a sports competition which aims to bring Christ's children together so that we may glorify His name (and have loads of fun in sports and fundraising events!).

WHEN AND WHERE WILL IT BE?
The 2012 Coptic Olympics was held at the Coptic Centre in Birmingham on the weekend of the Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd of September.

WHO CAN ATTEND / ENTER?
The Coptic Olympics is an open event to everyone in the family. Churches that entered teams are:
-Birmingham (Blue)
-Llandudno (Orange)
-Manchester (Red)
-Nottingham (White)
-Rotherham

WHO IS IN CHARGE?
The Coptic Olympics is organised and put together by the Coptic Olympics Committee. The committee is made up of the C.O. Board, Church representatives, the team managers, referees and administration staff.

HOW MUCH IS IT? IS THERE ACCOMMODATION?
Churhes entering teams are asked to contribute to the costs of the Coptic Olympics but attendance is completely free i.e. we do not sell any tickets for day comers. However, if you wish to stay over, you will need to book in advance on http://go2galilee.org and will be asked for a contribution.

HOW CAN I HELP?
The Committee is always in need of more volunteers, so if you want to help, please let us know! Of course, prayer for this project is very much needed!
